‘The Tonight Show Leaders’ Debate’ airs on Virgin Media One tomorrow night

 

In the last leaders’ debate, Matt Cooper and Ivan Yates will be joined by the seven main political party leaders.

The Tonight Show Leaders’ Debate airs on Virgin Media One, Thursday 30th January at 9.30pm.

In the last leaders’ debate, the seven main political party leaders will join Matt Cooper and Ivan Yates for The Tonight Show Leaders’ Debate on Virgin Media One, tomorrow night, Thursday 30th January at 9.30pm.

 

Matt and Ivan will be joined by Taoiseach and Fine Gael leader Leo Varadkar, Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin, Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald, Labour leader Brendan Howlin, Green Party leader Eamon Ryan, Solidarity/People Before Profit’s Mick Barry and the Social Democrats’ Co-leader Catherine Murphy.

 

Before the debate at 9pm and then again from 11pm, Gavan Reilly, Political Correspondent with Virgin Media News, will be hosting a panel of journalists and commentators who will be watching the debate including journalist Alison O’Connor, Businesswoman Norah Casey, Professor of Politics with DCU Gary Murphy, Head of Politics with Joe.ie Ellen Coyne and Fionnan Sheahan, Ireland Editor with Independent News and Media.

 

After the debate, Matt and Ivan will join Gavan and his panel to deconstruct the debate.

 

Virgin Media News one-on-one interviews with the seven main political party leaders continue with Colette Fitzpatrick.

 

Next week on the News at 5.30.pm, Colette will be joined by Labour Party Leader Brendan Howlin on Monday 3rd February, Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald on Tuesday 4th February, Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin on Wednesday 5th February and Taoiseach and Fine Gael Leader Leo Varadkar on Thursday 6th February.
